Terms of Booking + Cancellation Policy

Antenatal Academy - Terms & Conditions of Booking

1. The stated venue location for our Group Course may change depending on group size and availability of venue, but will be based in the location you have booked, i.e. in Bury St Edmunds or close surrounding area for our Bury St Edmunds Group Courses.

2. If you can no longer attend the classes after booking onto the group course, at our discretion we will endeavour to move you to another course date of your choosing, alternatively you can attend a private bespoke course (at a higher fee).

3. If you or your birth partner (or both) cannot attend a specific class we will endeavour to record the class for you to view at your convenience or we will live stream the class for you and/or your birth partner to watch via zoom/teams or similar. Please let Antenatal Academy know as soon as feasibly possible so we can set up this option for you.

4. If the Group Course you have booked onto has 3 or more couples booked Antenatal Academy will run the course as planned.

5. If the Group Course you have booked onto has 2 couples or less, we will contact you at least 5 days prior to the first class date to inform you of class size so that you can decide if you would like to continue with the course (we will run the course with 2 couples if both couples are in agreement), or book onto another course, or book a private bespoke course (at a higher fee).

6. Our Group courses will have a maximum of 8 couples (or 16 persons) booked per course.

7. Private Bespoke Antenatal Academy courses will be taught at an agreed location such as a third-party venue (at a higher fee), in the privacy of your own home (preferred) or one of the homes of our Antenatal Academy Educators.

Antenatal Academy – Cancellation Policy

1. If a course is booked and then subsequently cancelled, refunds are given on the following basis:

2. Notice of cancellation by customer must be in writing by e-mail to info@antenatalacademy.co.uk.

3. An administration fee of £35 will be charged.

4. After administration fees are deducted, a percentage refund will be calculated based on the number of days’ notice of cancellation received (prior to the start of the first class).

5. This discretionary % refund of the balance of the course fee may be taken at the following rate:

6. If cancellation is between 15 and 21 calendar days before course date: 75%

7. If cancellation is between 7 and 14 calendar days or less before the course date:50%

8. If cancellation is between 3 and 6 calendar days or less before the course date:25%

9. If cancellation is 2 calendar days or less before the course date, or there is a ‘no show’: 0%

10. In the event of exceptional circumstances refunds will be considered on a case-by case basis after admin costs.

11. In the event that we (Antenatal Academy) are unable to run a course for exceptional reasons we will endeavour to find alternative date/s to run the course to suit all participants (preferable) or we will teach the course live online via zoom/teams or similar.

12. If we are unable to do either of the above in point 10, then a full refund will be given.
